Mr Penn hit just about every human experience that one human being can express! Being able to go through lifes unexpected trials and not only learn, but grasp what one's purpose and destiny in life, is exemplary in his/her life's quest. I, personally, found it hard to put the book down. The double spaced sentences were easier on the eyes. Mr Penn put in his personal language as well as professional dialogue that kept your complete attention! If the readers did not get the main concept, which is what are you going to do about your hopes and dreams, then what else is secondary! This great information will continue to help me and my team excel in every endeavor through our faith, family and prosperity.
Thank You,

Dear Mr Penn
I attended your "I Will Until" Power Training you had in Denver CO in March. I purchased your book during the mid day break we had and had every intention on going home and putting it on the shelf with every other book I had. However something kept pressing me to get a glass of wine and sit down and read this book. I read it in two hours. This book made you laugh, cry and pray, but most of all it challenged your THINKING!! It was transparent and yet hard hitting!! Every young women and man needs to read this book. Because if you feel that you cant make something out of yourself because life has handed you some rocks and hard places This book will inspire you to make monuments out of rocks and step out of the hard places and reach for your dreams!!
Thank you for sharing your story and God Bless You

Mr. Penn,
Where do I start? This book helped me to see how much your story is so much like mines in some aspects. It was inspiring on so many levels and I found myself marking every other page to indicate what I can take from your life and implement it into my own. This read came at a great time in my life especially this weekend. On Easter Sunday some adult from my church were asking me questions about what I am doing as far as school and my new business. It turned into them basically attacking me and telling me how I will not succeed in school or my business and that I should drop out and focus on other things. I haven't taken well to this because I don't understand how three 40 something year-old could be so negative to a young person and say keep dreaming. It especially bothered me when I look at their lifestyles and how they have great one but would want the same for me.
The passage in the beginning and end of the book about being in your darkest hour and how you will see who will be there to have your back and who will be there to take the opportunity to stab you really got me to think about how I can take these negative comments and show people what I'm really about and how to go about doing it. In the chapter where you talked about when and how you were born I related to that to because when my mother was in labor with me she had placenta previa. She hemorrhaged during the c-section and died. It's a blessing she is still here and the close connection we share just as you and your mother.
I have always been a dreamer and I always wanted a better life for my family and I. I dream of the days when I can take my whole family on vacations and have fun or plan family reunions and being able to foot the bill. Since I can remember I have always dreamed about big houses and luxury cars. Every weekend since I was eleven years old I have always gone to look at model home or open houses. I also go to Ferrari of Denver, Land rover, and Mercedes to look at my dream cars and to see them in a physical state. I love Bentley's. When you spoke about how you use to do the same thing when you were that age I identified with you because you were creating the dream and now you have carried it out. I would like to replicate that.
As I work more and think more about my business I think god put this company and group of people in my life to not make money but first rely on him and gain personal development because it is worth more in the long run. When I think of having my own family I see by working with you and developing skills in this business I will hopefully be able to mentor and be a better father. In your book you talked about mental preparation and how this is key to your success on and off the field. I understand through you experiences in the book how this was taught to you at a young age and as you got older you just keep on refining. Personal development in life is very important and should be a constant focus.
I also found it interesting that you want to be a QUE. That has been a dream of mine since the 3rd grade. I want to attend an HBCU fall semester and pursue it. I have men at my church who are Que's and I get inspired by how they carry themselves every time I see them.
Another strong quote that stood out to me talk about success and how staying successful is hard than becoming successful. The trials that you went through to become successful, stay successful and see people succeed is a strong testament to you character. Having no money but still stepping out on faith and always keeping hope inspires me and reminds me that God always has to be first in everything that you do. Being selfless to help your team get to Philadelphia leaves me lost for words because I can't describe the impact it has on me. The fact that you listened and humbled yourself even at the top of your game shows me why you have influence and why respect is given whenever in your presence.
Three things I learned about your life.
Structure and respect for your parents prepped you for all the opportunities and the leadership roles you have now.
Not giving into fear opened doors for you and allowed you to make strong connections, which lead to many mentors and knowledge.
Caring for others and being there for you became your focus, which made you wealthy from within.
Three things I learned from the book.
Put others before myself.
Listen and be trainable.
Always keep God #1
Best Regards,
Miles Eddy

I know this email is all over the place but I really am still trying to process this book. In all honesty it is an amazing to know a testament to what God can and will do for those who keep him #1.
